Recovering refrigerants can be straightforward. Any properly equipped mechanical contractor can do it…however, not everyone can recover 3,000 pounds of R-11 from 20 feet down in a basement in December, or recover 15,000 pounds of R-22 from the penthouse of a 14-story building.

It’s equally difficult to recover refrigerants from a system operating at -40°F, or recover ultra-high-pressure refrigerants like R-503, R-13, and R-23. That is, unless you’re Airgas Specialty Products.

RPS Reclamation
